When the smoke clears, all you have to do is to ask yourselves: what do you really need, a mobile phone or a sim card? Phone bundled packages are good for those planning to buy a new cellular phone, but what if you want a mere change in your service provider? If your main purpose is to communicate, or to improve your ability to talk with your friends, relatives or acquaintances or even clients, then all that is needed is a sim only. However, if you have plans of replacing your current mobile phone, either because it is malfunctioning, worn out, or simply because you want to purchase a new one, then you should go with the bundled phone packages. What is exactly the difference between a bundled phone package and a sim only bundled package? Read on to find out.

Bundled phone packages are far more expensive because you are basically paying for the cost of the phone though you may not be aware about it, and get tied up with subscription plans which could range from 12, 24, 36, or even 48 months, and cannot preterminate it unless you pay a hefty penalty for cancelling. So even if the phone eventually wears out, you still have ...
... to continue paying for it irrespective of whether you use it or not. On the other hand, a sim only is much cheaper and affordable since what are we paying for: the usage of the services. You can choose from either a 12 or 24 month subscription plan, and you have the option of terminating it after a few months. As can be seen, this option is relatively much more easier to deal with when compared to a plan involving a mobile phone.

Ultimately, the decision on what subscription plan to choose lies within us, because the only question that needs to be answered is, what do you exactly want, a change of service or a change of mobile phone, which is actually a choice between a phone bundled package and a sim only subscription plan. So, will you be having a new sim card issued by a new operator with new services, or will be opting for a new cellular phone, to have the latest gadgetry there is in order to show off to your friends or simply because it is about time to replace the old one. Again, the choice is yours to make.
