Everyone wants to stop spam, even the US-based email marketers and global ethical mailers. There is a common goal. The issues isn't a disagreement in the enemyit's a definition of the enemy and a universal one at that. At this time, Spam is just a word that was used in a Monty Python flick years back and a word-play for part of the U.S. Bill that governs the way unsolicited commercial ads must be sent. It does not define permission and that is what is being taught by the anti-spam groups.

The definition of what spam really is NEEDS TO BE CLEAR. It needs to separate those with moral and ethical regard, from those who wish to do harm to the American People; the phishers, the hackers, the scammers, the porn kings, and the over-aggressive marketers.

Since America has established what spam is already, it is fruitless to combat a global population of system admins with conflicting beliefs. So, I urge the U.S. Senate to nationalize America's online commercial communication or regulate the filtering process used by undermining organizations that profit from spam.

Communication ...
... has always been regulated by the receiving country (not the receiver, the sender, the System Admin that manages the hardwareand not even the provider of the circuit for communications). The FCC is America's ultimate authority over communications and they are the ones that wrote the Can-Spam Actand they shall not be superseded by foreign entities in their attempts to regulate national communications, especially U.S. Commerce CommunicationsOUR ECONOMY!

I propose that America regulates its own incoming traffic and does so by the legislation enacted by our own government, not by the wishes of foreign profiteers.

By enacting such a policy, we can control our own internet and regain lost revenue by applying import and customs regulations to international online commerce as well and have proper licensing and taxation for all transactions with U.S. Currency. These are primary concerns with the global economy and can be eradicated with a simple change in the way we handle INCOMING DATA.

This will not regulate an Americans' ability to utilize the internet, only the data that is incoming to U.S. servers from foreign serversthat is my proposition. Go to www.StopHaus.org to read more or donate.
