People assemble for a lot of reasons. It is part of human nature to get together and serve a general purpose. When we build relationships, we establish who we are as individuals. You may have heard someone say "You are defined by the relationships you foster with others." There is nothing closer to the truth. The relationships created throughout the duration of someones life tell a great deal about this person. Relationships aren't defined exactly the same for every person and the type of connections you create may be more secluded or vast in personalities, life-style, and beliefs. Some people are very down to earth and consider everyone they meet a friend. Others live a far more secluded life by which fear keeps them away away from their community and congregation. Jesus is the small voice of conscience that helps every individual select good from bad. His communication through the Holy Spirit makes it possible for the Church to act as Christ's body. Without the congregation of his followers, this could not be possible.

You have to feel comfortable with the Church community you are involved with. It is important to look for a congregation that makes you feel both at home and speaks the real word of Christ. These beliefs and teachings need to reflect the scriptures. Christ should be a glorious and high figure inside the congregation. Being active in the community and congregation is really a bigger struggle for our present society. By finding a church that encourages strong congregational relationships, you can be ensured that everyone attending wants to be engaged.
