Construction aggregate, or simply aggregate,is a broad category of coarse particulate material used inconstruction, including sand, gravel, crushed stone, slag, recycledconcrete and geosynthetic aggregates.Aggregates are a component ofcomposite materials such as concrete and asphalt concrete; theaggregate serves as reinforcement to add strength to the overallcomposite material. Due to the relatively high hydraulic conductivityvalue as compared to most soils, aggregates are widely used in drainageapplications such as foundation and French drains, septic drain fields,retaining wall drains, and road side edge drains. Aggregates are alsoused as base material under foundations, roads, and railroads. To putit another way, aggregates are used as a stable foundation or road/railbase with predictable, uniform properties (e.g. to help preventdifferential settling under the road or building), or as a low-costextender that binds with more expensive cement or asphalt to formconcrete.

Aggregate equipment

The Big materials are fed to the jaw crusher evenly and gradually byvibrating feeder through a hopper for the primary crushing. After firstcrushing, the material will transferred to impact crusher or conecrusher by belt conveyor for secondary crushing; the crushed materialswill then transferred to vibrating screen for separating. After beingseparated, the parts that can meet standard will be taken away as finalproducts, while the other parts will be returned to cone crusher orimpact crusher for re-crushing , thus forming a closed circuit. Size offinal products can be combined and graded according to customer'sspecific requirement. We can also equip dust catcher system to protectenvironment.
