Many football teams have a long history, until now I find that my beloved Patriots have been playing pro football for 50 years. As the decade came to an end, the Patriots and the rest of the AFL became a part of the NFL. All AFL teams became AFC teams, and things formed the foundation for the modern-day NFL from there.

While the Patriots found some success in the 1960s, they jump around different stadiums and coaches a few times.
