Taj Mahal is an inspirational place for centuries especially for poets, painters and musicians. It is one of the most perfect architectural creations of the world. Taj Mahal is situated in the city of Agra, which is in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated on the banks of the river Yamuna. She won the heart of the Mughal Prince and finally she was married to Emperor Jahangirs third son Prince Khurram who became famous by the name of 'Shahjahan' or 'King of the World'. In 1633, the work on the mausoleum began. To build this unforgettable monument 20,000 workers labored for 17 years.

Agra is having extreme as well as tropical climate. Summers are very hot and the maximum temperature even rises to 45 degree Celsius, whereas winter is cold and foggy in Agra. Best time to visit Taj Mahal is in the months of winter from October to March. You must avoid visiting the Taj Mahal in the months of summer and monsoon.
