So why on earth would anyone want to go on a holiday where they are tied down by set meal times??? This type of regimentation is the very last thing that you need!
The definition of freedom -
free dom
Spelled [free-duh m]
The power to exercise choice and to make decisions without constraint from within or without.
The whole purpose of a holiday is to have a welcome break and that means freedom to do what you want, when you want! So having to be up at a particular time for your breakfast is a pretty dumb idea. And exactly what will happen if you want to stay out late? Will you still be able to get back in the guest house or will they be locking the door at a certain time?
Rather than being made to feel welcome, a bed and breakfast establishment can actually make you feel like a naughty child! And this is one of the main reasons why so many people will rent out a holiday cottage for their time away. You can get up at whatever time you like and there will be no-one to give you a dirty look for getting back in after midnight. You are probably beginning to see why holiday cottages are ...
... such an appealing idea.
If you like the idea of renting a holiday property for your holiday break, then you will certainly have plenty of locations to choose from; there are Peak District cottages, seaside apartments and town houses to consider. In fact, there are hundreds of holiday homes for rental in just about any part of the country you care to mention!
Here are a few examples.
Cornwall
It is easy to see why Cornwall has always been such a popular holiday destination. It has some lovely beaches, some beautiful scenery and plenty of totally yummy ice creams and pasties (however, these should obviously not be eaten at the same time).
North Yorkshire
The rugged terrain of North Yorkshire is an absolute joy for walkers. There are numerous routes to choose from and you are sure to see many gorgeous sights along the way!
The Lake District
The Lakes are another super-popular destination for holidaymakers. This is a great place to go if you fancy something a little more tranquil.
Wales
Anyone with a love of history will thoroughly enjoy a stay in Wales. There are some wonderful towns and villages to visit and every one of these has its very own tale to tell.
Scotland
Why not pull wild mountain thyme on a trip to bonny Scotland? If enjoy staying in scenic areas then you will certainly not be disappointed... this is home to some of the most beautiful views in the world!
