German Leipzig Magic Christmas Market

Originated in 1458, Leipzig Christmas market in Germany ranks second only to the oldest Christmas market in Dresden. During the Christmas market open, the Roman Berger Square will transform into a festival market with handicrafts and Christmas food. The entire old city is filled with the aroma of baked apple, a variety of nuts, ginger biscuits and hot wine. The most striking thing in the market is the 30 meters high Christmas tree which is decorated with 5,000 bulbs, 150 golden bells and red ribbons. Various kiosks, stalls and small shops offer all kinds of Christmas decorations, crafts, candles and marionettes. Unique Frankfurt blue ceramic containers Dippe, prints Brenten and Quetschem-nnchen cookies make the Christmas market full of traditional flavor.
