A great mentally and financially awarding job is working within the events industry. There are many types of events but the most wanted jobs are found in the entertainment industry. The xfactor is the biggest show on British television at the moment and you can imagine the fulfilment you would feel if you're a part of it. Maybe showbiz isn't your cup of tea but weddings and corporate events are, well the events industry covers a whole spectrum of fields. Maybe sports hits the spot. You will need to be able to withstand the pressure of working in a fast passed environment where you will have to make on the spot decisions. Once you have a bit of experience looking for work is easy. Those with years of event experience will already be signed up to specialist recruitment agencies that have the skills necessary for putting them in the correct role. It takes very little time to create a profile and upload your CV to the recruitment agencies. You can sit back and wait for them to call you. Those that are not comfortable using the internet could out the industry magazines which list current jobs, or approach event organisation agencies.
So if you're in a dead-end job and you want something more exciting or rewarding, try out the live events industry.
