There is a lot of doubt about the importance of using deep breathing exercises only by the nostrils and not the mouth. At best, we see advice instructing to inhale by the nose and exhale by the mouth. Also, we are taught to expand the chest and contract the abdominal area. The problem with this is that we don't use our full capacities, as better results are achieved when you expand the abdominal area first and the chest only in the final moment of the inspiration.

Try doing this and then exhale slowly, also by the nose, retracting the abdominal area in last place (do it for three to five minutes). You will discover the beneficial effects of this deep breathing for stress managements of all kinds.

Stress managements are necessary in various moments of the day, and we can choose wisely what we eat, how to relax, what we do in our working out sessions, etc. Add to this a deeper conscience of how you breathe and follow the advice given here. You'll get a new and free ...
... way to generate stable energy and maybe feel less need for coffee or sugar jolts.

The challenge for us all is to understand the cycles and fluctuations that define our human nature. We can't aim for energy at peak in a linear way for 8 or 10 hours at work, and another 8 to 10 hours in our personal lives. Energy is to be felt, understood and managed: so, don't dissipate it stressing about the fact that you don't feel strong for a specific task at a given moment. Know yourself and concentrate to use Pareto's law to your advantage: make 80% of your output happen with 20% of your resources. If you guarantee this in your daily life for two or three critical items, you'll feel good about yourself.

If we make our choices in the way just stated, all changes and challenges that occur in the day will be embraced in a more positive way. This happens just because we accepted responsibility to manage our life and surrender to all its surprises, adversities and opportunities!

So, please remember to breathe in a way that supports your success, and not just to keep alive and survive.
