Since the mouthwash is swished in ones mouth for about 60 seconds twice a day, it can take almost 12 weeks to see any results.

Other teeth whitening products include whitening trays similar to a mouth guard piece. These trays are filled with a peroxide bleaching agent and worn for a few hours a day. These trays can be found in either a grocery store or a dentist office. In a dentist office, one can receive a gel for the tray which has a higher peroxide bleach base than purchasing one over the counter.

The other type of teeth whitening product can be found in a dentists office. A dentist can provide in office teeth bleaching treatments. The dentist will place a bleaching agent directly on the patients teeth. A light, heat, or laser is then applied to activate the bleaching agent. Results are seen after the first treatment, but will increase with additional treatments.
