Many individuals have incorporated damask into their wedding first by using it on their wedding invitations. The element of damask may be subtle, such as in the border or the trim of the invitation, or it may be more pronounced, such as in the background of the invitation. There are even brides who have used a damask print for their bridesmaids' dresses or flower girl dresses. A damask print can be used in the labels for favors or in the toasting flutes for champagne.

The cover of the guest book for the wedding can be covered in a damask print. The same print can also be used in the pattern of the plates used at the reception. Damask prints are also highly popular for use in wedding cakes.
