So you just got home from your year-long journey understanding Australia's culture and its work environment with a working holiday visa. Feeling restless? You might want to explore your other options or rediscover life after the working holiday visa.

1.You can get a second working holiday visa - If you feel that your 12-month work-study combination simply wasn't enough, you can always go for a second round. Your first work holiday visa would only allow you to be employed by a certain company/organization once. You cannot be employed in the same location, same company, same position twice in the 12 months. But, with a second working holiday visa, you can work for a further 6 months for an employer with whom you were employed on your fist working holiday visa.

2.You can get a tourist visa - Although this lets you stay longer and come back even after 12 months, a tourist visa will not allow you to work in Australia.

3.Find an employer to sponsor you - If you really enjoyed the working world in Australia and think your temporary employer was impressed by your performance; you can talk to the company and ask ...
... for a sponsorship. If you are a skilled person, this makes things even better. You can then apply for a skilled sponsored visa or an Australian working visa, which can become your pathway to Australia immigration.

4.Keep the memories - If you don't feel that you are ready to immigrate to Australia or to go through another Australian visa application, then simply keep the memories of your trip. You can use your experience when applying for other work in the future. Most employers find that exposure to different cultures and work environments an advantage for candidates.

5.Take another trip - If you still feel that travel itch, you can always look for other countries that offer a working holiday program similar to Australia's. These programs encourage cultural exchange and are often arranged between several countries.

So what are you waiting for? Enjoy your holidays, see the world and earn a bit of cash at the same time. The working holiday visa is one that allows you to experience so many things from a different country.
