Gout is a painful disease which can result due to excess of uric acid in the body. Due to this excess, tiny crystals of urate may be formed which deposit in tissues of the human body.

These crystals may cause frequent and recurring inflammation of joints. It is essential that gout patient take more water. Water helps in proper functioning of the body. Water lowers the uric acid level as it throws away uric acid out of the body through urine.
