There was a transformation in 1990 in the SUV market. There were SUVs already there but Americans took a fancy to the SUV Explorer launched by Ford in that year. It created a sudden rush for SUVs. It was a comfortable, versatile, and affordable midsize SUV. Its style was its main attraction. Since then it has remained popular and today it is in its third generation introduced in 2002. The latest Explorer is more powerful, quieter, and safer than the earlier models. This four-door SUV can seat up to seven persons and has ample space for cargo. Its handling qualities are good and some versions of it are capable of towing. It has all the standard features required in a car and some luxury features as well.

Moving in Explorer does not mean that you are necessarily going on an exploration trip. You may move in a familiar territory but you should have a clear view of the road in order to move safely. If it is day and there is bright sunshine there is no problem. However, at night or if the visibility is poor due to fog or overcast sky you may use the Explorer headlights. They remove the darkness and illuminate the road for ...
... you. Sources of light like halogen lights, Xenon lights, and LED lights are available which are very bright and hence more useful. Moreover the beam of light should also be cast in the right areas on the road. The driver of a vehicle is able to adjust the beam of light with the help of special lenses and reflectors in the headlight assembly. At the same time it has to be ensured that the headlights do not blind the driver of the vehicle coming from the opposite side. This is ensured by properly locating the head lights and the use of dimmers. Headlights play a vital role in maintaining safety on the road.

Headlights are one of the most visible parts of a vehicle. A properly designed headlight can add to the looks of your SUV. Many innovative designs are available in Explorer headlights. You can see more about Explorer headlights at www.ilovebodykits.com.
