The As Built measuring system offers many different types of plans and layouts to fit almost any need. If what you need isn't outlined below they can create a custom plan to fit your needs. Some of the options they offer are:

1. Residential Floor Plans: Residential floor plans include all the structural components you would expect such as walls, windows, and stairs. However, they also include information on Appliances, built in counters or book cases, plumbing fixtures, and ceiling heights.

2. Commercial Floor Plans: The standard commercial floor plan focuses on the structural details such as wall, windows, columns, and stairs. You can customize these if you would like to include more detailed information.

3. Roof Plans: Roof plans require that a floor plan be done first. The roof plan itself includes eaves, valleys, ridges, hips, fireplaces, and any other structural attachments as well as the pitch of each portion of the roof.

4. Exterior Elevations: These are detailed drawing of the exterior of a home or commercial building that include, doors, windows, trim, siding, ...
... and any other permanently attached features.

5. Interior elevations: These are detailed drawings that show the interior elevations of the building they include doors, windows, stairs, appliances, trim, and any other permanently attached features of the interior.

6. Electrical Plans: These are not wiring schematics. The electrical plans show where outlets, switches, lights, appliance connections, and other visible electrical features are located.

7. Square footage Plans: These are generally used for commercial buildings and meet the BOMA, AIR or other commercial codes that may apply.

8. Site plans: A site plan is based on the physical boundaries of a property and may include things such as fences, any buildings on the property, hardscaping, trees, and utility poles.

9. Contour elevations: While this type of drawing is not based on the sea level of an area, it does show the physical contours of the property in question, in 1' intervals.

10. Landscape Sections: These are a more detailed rendering of the contour drawings and show the topography of any given area of the property.

A quality As Built system offers many different types of plans to give as many options as possible for the people needing the information, such as architects, designers, and property owners. The accuracy and detail provided offers a solid base for almost any type of project. Whether you are considering a new home or renovations on an older building there is vital information to be found.

Many creative people lack the mathematical and computer skills to create drawings as detailed as an architectural As Built system requires. Having the schematics laid out for them by a professional measuring company can maximize their ability to provide the best results for their clients. Whether these are interior designs or landscaping designs the information is irreplaceable. In some cases a rough sketch might suffice, but for truly detailed layouts accuracy is vital.

PPMco.net is one company that has taken the initiative to create a system that can provide truly accurate quality drawings based on available measurements. Their As Built system was created internally and offers many valuable uses. For more information about their system contact them at http://ppmco.net/index.html.
