Ford Focus was introduced in 2000 as a two-door hatchback, sedan, and wagon. In 2002 a four-door hatchback was also added to the family. In 2008 a coupe model was also launched and hatchback and wagon versions were dropped. At present it is available as a coupe and a four-door sedan. When launched the car's plus points were its affordable price and nice styling. A number of options were offered to widen the customer base. Another specialty of the car was that the same basic form was offered around the world at the time of launch as was offered in the United States. However, later on a special version was introduced for the European market. In 2008 its styling was upgraded.

Parallel to the automobile industry an automobile ancillary industry has also substantially grown. There are several ancillary items like headlights, tail lights, horns, car mirrors, body kits etc. Tail lights are a simple ancillary item but their importance cannot be minimized as they significantly contribute to road safety. Initially they were a pair of lights at the back but now like Focus tail lights they are an assembly of lights mounted at the ...
... rear end of the car. The main pair of lights is red in color whose purpose is to indicate your presence on the road to the driver of the car following you. Red color is preferred because it can be seen from a longer distance when the visibility is poor due to fog or mist. Turning lights which are yellow in color indicate whether you will be turning left or right. There are lights which indicate of your intention to stop and lights which shine when you proceed in the reverse gear. There are parking lights as well.

Besides being a safety feature the tail lights also serve as a decorative feature. Because of their visibility Focus tail lights have been designed in a number of attractive designs. Tail lights now cover a wider area on the rear of a car. They become a focal point for those who follow your car. You can see more about Focus tail lights at www.ilovebodykits.com.
