This rule was made in order to combat the possible problems with addiction that could surface.

Years later the state would allow the boats to sit at the side of the dock. They would also be able to have customers enter the boat continually. The other law, keeping people from losing more than 500 dollars per trip, was also taken away eventually.

These casinos offer an interesting experience. It is free to enter in almost every casino for those players who are 21 or older. 21 is the minimum gambling age in the state. While there are casinos in other states that allow free drinks, they are not allowed in the Missouri. This is not allowed in order to help people keep a clear state of mind while they gamble. This way they do not blow all of their money without being clearly aware of their decisions.
