Fire Damage Dallas Incidents

Dallas, Texas places ninth in terms of the largest cities in the United States. Its population has reached approximately 6.5 million from last year's U.S. Census Bureau release. With a thriving economy, it has growing industries in transportation, energy, computer technology, telecommunications, commerce and banking. Its history is rooted in cotton and oil industries and its prominent railroad lines. But however progressive the city is, it is not spared from disasters like fire damage. Here are some incidents:

Last August 12, 2010, a fire damage incident occurred in a barn where seventeen horses were killed. The barn was about 7,600 square feet and the fire was blazing like anything. According to the firefighters on site, the flames were as high as seventy feet. Based on the assessment, the barn did not adhere with fire code requirements since it had been twenty years old already. The occurrence of fire damage in Dallas happens every so often and has raised concerns within the community and among the fire departments.

... the playground and spray-painted the property. It is believed that arson was done to the premises and was done out of anti-Islam sentiments. These types of incidents are highly sensitive since it affects the immigrant community in Dallas. At the same time, it posed a serious threat to the people residing within the area. When it comes to fire-related incidents, the top priority is the safety of the persons in the area.

In other news reports, last August 17, 2010, authorities inspected the fire damage in a Dallas Delta High School. Items such as computers, copy machines and student records were destroyed. The investigation reveals that a theft may have occurred before the fire started. A lot of the desks and handles were tampered with.

Their professionalism and dedication spans over years of experience. The Dallas Fire-Rescue has a solid team comprising of 1,670 firefighters. Aside from this, there are 56 fire stations around the city.
