* The customer needs to provide a sunlight-proof indoor area for the camera of the biometric time attendance system. Exposing the camera to direct sunlight may cut its life span by almost one-third. Besides, the image quality may also be ruined at times, it is receiving direct sunlight. You may find the sun itself in the pictures, if the camera is installed in an area facing the sun.
*The area should have proper lighting. This can be done by mounting tubelights or lamps on the walls of the premises. Light is necessary to create an image exposure on the film of the camera. Some cameras do not work at all in darkness. Others may not give the desired quality if appropriate lighting is not maintained. Face recognition system need good lighting conditions for functioning.
*Companies should possess power back-up facilities. The power back-up facilities should be for around three to four hours. This acts like a support in power failure conditions.
*Companies may require power points at many places. Apart from this, electrical items like switch board, electrical connections, etc. may also be needed.
* Local Area Network (LAN) connectivity is also required for the installation of a biometric time attendance system. Offices that may require face recognition time attendance system may have many computers working in close proximity to each other. The data captured at different access points through the application may require to be shared. LAN is useful in sharing data amongst these computers.
These are the basic infrastructural requirements to install a face recognition time attendance system. Use of biometric time attendance system may be sought-after. However, merely purchasing the application without thinking is like leaping without looking. You need to look before you leap. Only if your premise is equipped with the above mentioned infrastructure, you can go ahead and purchase a biometric face recognition system. It is better to approach a biometric time attendance system solution provider, who may help you with the installation of the device. Starters may not find the apparatus useful, if installation is not done properly.
