Italian Mafia Fellow Member Arrested In Estepona-00-7521
A necessary fellow member of the Camorra Italian mafia, Fabio Allegro, has been arrested in Estepona, Málaga in a joint operation amid the Guardia Civil Orginised Crime and Anti-drugs unit and the Arma de Carabinieri.
Allegro was one of the main participants in the Polverini clan, renowned for global drug trafficking, principally in hashish, over which they had a near monopoly in Italy. He is thought to have been in Spain for a lot of years, fleeing a prison sentence handed down against him by the Italian authorities.
46 year old Allegro is also considered to have traditional close links to the hashish traffickers in Morocco for the duration of his time in Spain, and is thought to have been part of illegal action worth hundreds of millions of Euro while here. He will now be extradited back to Italy to face charges.
