Combi Boilers: Are They Good?
Most people call it Combi boilers, but it is in fact a combination boiler, which is special in the way that it can heat your house up as well as supply you with warm water. These are great items for the smaller home. If you have a bigger home, you might want to consider installing two of these boilers. You can use one to heat up the house and the other to heat up the water, which you are using.
Most people prefer to use these types of boilers, simply because they are extremely efficient as well as it does not take up much space. They are so small that you can actually install it in your bathroom, without anyone noticing that you are using a boiler instead of electricity to warm your water.
You might be wondering as to why it is so economical to use. The reason is that they do not store any warm water. As you require the water to shower for example, the boiler will heat it for you within seconds.
Because of the fact that they do not have a loft tank, piping or cylinder, these boilers are some of the easiest items to install in your house. Such a small item might look like it could be very complex, but is ...
... in fact only an invented boiler where they add a heating element, to supply you with hot water immediately.
The most amazing thing about this little boiler is that as long as you keep it in working order, your whole household will never be without hot water again. You do however need to ensure that you connect the boiler to the main source of water running through your house. One of the main reasons as to why these Combi boilers are so efficient is because it uses some of the flue gases again to heat the water, where this is something which is lost with the standard boilers.
It is a soothing thought to know that you have something, which you can install within minutes, and that too without having to give up much space. You can rather use the space available to decorate your house the way you would like. The expert's feel that if you have more than one bathroom in your house, you should consider, storing water for backup. Especially if you are, two or more people in the house using warm water at once.
There are a few different designs in the Combi boiler range from which you can choose. The standard boiler will supply you with hot water in less than a minute.
If you want to ensure that you have hot water all of the time, you can purchase the Combi storage unit, which will keep the water warm, although you might never need to use water from the storage unit. With the exception of saving time and space with these boilers, you will also save money, as your electricity bill will be much less than usual, especially during the wintertime.
