When you have worked hard, feel stressed out or just generally tired, do you think of taking to your bed? I know I do, I love my beds. My bed says so much about me! Quite often beds call to us to go lie down and relax. To me there is nothing like getting into bed all cozy and comfortable at the end of a day.

You might think beds are just beds, but that just isn't so. beds can be a haven, a savoir and a refuge. Maybe it's just me but I would take to my bed at the drop of a hat. In short, I like my bed, it represents my personal space in this world and I cherish and treasure any time spent in it.

When choosing a beds I look for comfort, but it isn't just about comfort. I want something that looks welcoming, stylish and fits in with the rest of the furniture in my room. The thing about beds is they come in all shapes, sizes, and styles and can be made from a huge array of materials. You can get fancy wrought iron bedsteads or beautiful painted wooden bedsteads. It would probably be easier to list things beds can't be made of rather than what they ...
... can be made of.

There are obvious choices of materials for beds like a fabric-covered divan or a basic wooden traditional pine beds. What about a gorgeous leather bed or something completely off the wall like a waterbed! There really are beds out there to fit whatever it is you want. How about a dreamy, white painted Victorian style bed or a sumptuous four-poster if you really want to indulge yourself.

If space is short or you just want something for a guest room have you considered sofa beds. They look great as sofas and many of them when unfolded make extremely good comfortable beds. There is a range of different sized beds from your single to extra large king size. Go for the largest size you can fit in, you won't regret it. If your smaller bedroom will take a queen-size bed, go for it. Likewise, if you can fit a big king size bed in then just go for it.

Don't go for something that is just functional, we spend a lot of our life in beds sleeping so we should indulge and go for something special. There are sleigh beds, divans, upholstered beds, rattan beds and bamboo beds. Go for ultra modern, sleek, light wood or sumptuous sexy baroque style. Go for what you always wanted; push the boat out and splash out on your next bed. I guarantee you won't regret it.
