The internet provides many resources when you need to find a firm to assist
in the collection of receivables. Directories will be able to provide the
names of law firms and collection agencies who specialize in the collection
of delinquencies.
Here are some sites to be considered:
NARCA DIRECTORY. NARCA is the National Association of Retail Collection
Attorneys. The internet directory can be found at http://www.narca.org
Approximately 640 collection law firms are listed, with links to their
e-mail and websites. Viewing is free. These firms generally work on a
contingent fee basis, with no charge if the account is not collected. They
collect "retail" claims----that is, claims against consumers.
"ATTORNEYFIND" Directory at http://www.Attorneyfind.com is a directory
of law firms in 70 categories, and includes the category of collections for
creditors. The law firms listed are in both the retail (consumer) and
commercial (business) collection areas. Most work is on a contingent fee
basis. Viewing the directory is without charge. Listings include e-mail ...
... and
website links.
A DIRECTORY OF COLLECTION AGENCIES can be seen at
http://www.eCollectionAgencies.com for those whose claims are too small to
sue, or who desire the services of a collection agency. This directory is
also viewable without charge, with listings including e-mail and website
links.
For legal assistance in other areas of law, you are welcome to search:
THE MARTINDALE DIRECTORY at http://www.Martindale.com
THE WEST DIRECTORY at http://www.LawOffice.com
"ATTORNEYFIND" at http://www.Attorneyfind.com
