‘Mallika' is Bollywood's latest upcoming horror film. Produced by Percept Picture Company, Horrotainment and Glorious Entertainment, the film promises to start a different genre of ‘masala-thrillers'! The movie revolves around the central character Sanjana, who is haunted by the spirit of Mallika. Mallika dies 25 years ago in a tragic accident, but her spirit stays back on earth for revenge and for a chance to hit back! Sanjana is haunted by nightmares and vivid visions of a murder that took place in the house years before she moved in, unaware of the fact that things would take a turn for the worse and which would change her life forever. The film is set for release on 3rd September, 2010.

The movie has been directed by Wilson Louis, a veteran director of horror movies. The movie also stars the likes of Sameer Dattani (of I Hate Luv Storys fame), Suresh Menon, Arjun Mahajan and model-turned-actress Sheena Nayyar. Sheena Nayyar says that her role in the movie is very intense rather than a bold one! Being touted as Bollywood's latest hottie, Sheena Nayyar has left no stone unturned for her debut film ‘Mallika'. ...
... Sheena is extremely upbeat about her upcoming debut and pleased with her performance as well, while Samir Dattani plays her love interest. Sameer plays the role of ‘Saahil' who is a fun character, but can be an adamant character if provoked.

The posters of the film have already started creating a buzz, as they project Sheena in a bold and beautiful avatar. The model turned actress sizzled in a red dress at the press meet held of the film, where the promos of the film were also shown. The cast and crew of the film recently had a promotional bash for the film. The entire star cast was present except for the male lead Sameer Dattani who was upset with the film-makers' for having concentrated on Sheena Nayyar's promotion.
