Special Gifts That Give Back To The Phoenix Hungry
Are you looking for a unique gift for that special someone? It seems like many people are always on the lookout for gifts and not just any gift, but the perfect gift. And yet so often one ends up just buying something that they know the other person will like or use, but it really does not have a whole lot of meaning behind it.
St. Vincent de Paul Phoenix offers two different unique gifts; gifts with special meaning and the type of gift that keep on giving. Flowers That Feed and Commemorative Bricks are two extraordinary gifts that donate food and programs to Phoenix homeless and working poor as well as deliver the thoughtfulness to that special someone.
Flowers That Feed is a meaningful gift that at the same time it will help children and families receive nourishing hot meals in one of St. Vincent de Paul's five charity dining rooms. With each donation of $25, $50 or $100, you will receive a beautiful, custom-designed Bertica Garcia-Dubus gift card to tell your friends and family that you've honored them with the gift of hope. Each card is inscribed with the number of meals your donation provides, so the recipient ...
... will know how much they are helping struggling families.
A Sunflowers purchase provides one week of nourishing meals in our charity dining rooms for a family of four for only $25. A Tulips purchase provides two weeks of nourishing meals in our charity dining rooms for a family of four for only $50. And a Roses purchase provides a month of nourishing meals in our charity dining rooms for a family of four for $100.
Another interesting and lasting gift idea is Commemorative Bricks. Commemorative bricks are an out of the ordinary way to honor to honor a family member, mentor or friend. By having a brick engraved to recognize the wonderful impact he or she has made on your life, someone else's life or the community.
These special engraved commemorative bricks will be placed in St. Vincent de Paul's Biblical Garden, located on the grounds of the Dan O'Meara campus on Watkins Road in Phoenix, Arizona. The center of the garden will be paved with commemorative bricks, each honoring a person, group or event.
Furthermore, an engraved brick provides a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the foundation of an important setting, as the good works of the past remind and inspire the giving spirit of the future. Each brick brings with it recognition that lasts a lifetime and continues to give as monies raised will help fund the numerous St. Vincent de Paul programs for the homeless and working poor in the Phoenix area.
Each brick is $100 for two lines of 17 characters each, and the person you wish to honor will receive a beautiful certificate of ownership. For more information on either of the meaningful gifts, visit stvincentdepaul.net.
