A Tourists Guide To Costa Teguise

Costa Teguise is a modern resort in Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands. While it is perhaps best known as a windsurfing destination, this laid back resort has a lot more to offer the tourist, including beautiful beaches, a great golf course, and a host of shops, bars, and restaurants.
Every year, thousands of windsurfing aficionados visit Costa Teguise to experience its near perfect windsurfing conditions and beautiful scenery. Even if you do not fancy taking to the waves yourself, it is still very enjoyable to watch the surfers from the beach.
There are lots of other sea based activities that you can take part in apart from windsurfing in Costa Teguise. For instance, you could give deep sea fishing a try, take to the waves in a sailboat, or delve beneath the waves in a scuba diving outfit.
There are three main beaches in Costa Teguise. The biggest, and the most popular, one is Las Cucharas, a beautiful beach with large stretches of soft white sand. The others are the pebble strewn El Jabillo and the sandy Los Charchos, both of which are ideal if you want some peace and quiet.
Costa Teguise is quite ...
... a laid back, quiet town, which makes it ideal for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun. That said, there are plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants to spend time in while you are there, and a few discos and late night bars where you can party the night away.
Aside from the beach, the main attractions in Costa Teguise are the eighteen hole golf course and the water park. The water park contains many exciting water slides, some more relaxing and scenic slow water rides, and a wave pool. Horse riding is also a popular tourist activity in Costa Teguise.
Costa Teguise looks every bit the traditional Canarian resort, despite having been constructed relatively recently, with lots of palm trees. However, if you want a more authentic Lanzarote experience, you can hop on the bus to the picturesque nearby town of Taro de Tahiche.
Despite having a few discos and late bars, Costa Teguise is not exactly buzzing with nightlife. If you fancy a wild night out, Costa Teguise is just a short bus ride away from the capital of Lanzarote, Arrecife. Here you can find a whole host of nightclubs, bars, and restaurants.
