Kids Days Out In Kent
There are 2 Go Ape centres in Kent, one in Bedgebury Forest and one at Leeds Castle. Both allow kids to swing like Tarzan, cross rope bridges, explore forests from up in the treetops. Children need to be 10 years or older to take part.
The Chislehurst Caves are a great place for a day out with the kids, but the new Labyrinthe activity centre makes it even more fun for them. Set in a medieval fantasy world, this is a role playing activities game that takes place every Saturday.
The sprawling twenty eight acres of the Kent Life centre in Sandling offers beautiful views and country walks, playgrounds for children of all ages, as well as a restaurant and picnic facilities, and an animal cuddle corner where children can see baby chicks and ducklings, lambs and more.

Chiddingstone Castle near Edenbridge is a fascinating building on its own, with its own Egyptian and Japanese rooms and Victorian kitchen, but the Castle provides a fantastic array of activities designed to keep children entertained. These include dressing up in period costumes, craft making and hieroglyphics workshops.
Children aged ten to sixteen can become film directors for the day at the fabulous Folkestone Film Factory. Groups of up to ten will be guided through the scriptwriting, filming and editing process, producing their own short movie over the course of the day.
Kids will love Farming World at Faversham, where there are over 100 breeds of farm animal as well as a hawking centre where children can watch birds of prey flying displays.
