A famous Jamaican concoction is Mannish Water. This soup is a highly seasoned mix of goat head, carrots, parsley, onion, scotch bonnet pepper, and the main ingredient, the testicles of the goat. Sure it sounds gross, that's precisely why a person new to this treat is not told beforehand what that secret ingredient is. As they enjoy munching away on the cartilaginous meat, they will usually ask, what exactly is this. To which the usually gleeful response of goat balls, turns sheer enjoyment into abject disgust, especially if it is a man doing the chomping! (Maybe this is the origin of the name mannish)

Why oh why should I share such a story? What could this possibly have to do with success thought process? Very simple. While we are in pursuit of our passion or dream, if we do not stop to ask what it entails, or what all the components are, we may find ourselves at that penultimate point of success, without having been slowed or distracted by the unsavory nature or aspects of what we are trying to accomplish.

Instead, we should remain focused on the big picture, on the delightful experience, and revel in the joy ...
... of the journey, until our final destination is arrived at. As we have often heard, success is not a destination, but in the journey.
