Movie Forrest Gump is talking about a life tale to a simple, namely low IQ man. Though I cannot tell any detail from the movie since it was a long time that I watched the movie, I still think it impressive.

The film Forrest Gump was based on a novel by Winston Groom. And the movie's director Robert Zeneckis, producer Wendy Fineman and screenwriter Eric Roth seem to have fallen in love with the Forrest Gump character and then totally rewritten huge chunks of the novel plot line to give themselves maximum opportunities to exploit the devise of using digital technology to have Tom Hanks interact with film clips of historic characters such as JFK, Lydon Johnson, George Wallace and Richard Nixon.

But I haven't read the book yet, so I cannot make any comparison with the book and the movie. I just want to share some quotes from the movie with you guys who also like the movie.

Any of us meet different people in our lives, face many unpredictable situations, and take different reactions to those situations. Sometimes people even confront with something that he cannot get through and feel upset, anxious and stressful. ...
... But it seemed that Forrest Gump can simply accept the challenge life (he knows how to give without expectation of receiving), and proved that determination, courage, and love are more important than ability.

There's one famous line that overview the life. Life was like a box of chocolate. You never know what you're gonna get. That's because at that time there were various tastes in a box of chocolate but no signs can show what were in the box.

The film begins with a feather falling to the feet of Forrest Gump who is sitting at a bus stop. Forrrest picks up the feather and puts it in the book then tell the story of his life to a woman seated next to him. The listeners at the bus stop change regularly throughout his narration. Each of them shows different attitude ranging from disbelief and indifference to rapt veneration.

The story begins with the little Forrest waiting for the school bus. He struggles through childhood with his best and only friend Jenny. His 'mama' teaches him the ways of life and leaves him to choose his destiny. Forrest joins the army for service in Vietnam, finding new friends called Dan and Bubba, he wins medals, starts a table tennis craze, creates a famous shrimp fishing fleet, inspires people to jog, create the smiley, write bumper stickers and songs, donating to people and meeting the president several times. However this is all irrelevant to Forrest who can only think of his childhood sweetheart Jenny. Jenny finally returns with her child and the knowledge she is dying. This part is a little bit underplayed but it adds dramatic weight to a successful image.

And at the end of the film, the father and son wait for the school bus on little Forrest's first day of school. Opening the book his son is taking to school, the white feather from the beginning of the movie is seen to fall from within the pages. As the bus pulls away, the white feather is caught on a breeze and drifts skyward.

Well. Although the science-fiction movies are more exciting, taking some time to review some classic moving movies is also a lovely way to spend our spare time and relive nerves.
