TECHNOLOGY

What Is Technology?
In our everyday life, for our practical purposes or applications when we use the scientific knowledge or skills, it is called technology. It can be seen from basic wheel to computers, medicines, stitched clothes, different kind of electrical/mechanical appliances etc.

Technology is the ways and means to explore the scientific knowledge to develop/invent tools and techniques to transform the world by enhancing efficiency in almost every sphere of our life. With every new technological invention or innovation, it is dramatically changing our life and society. Following are some types of technologies,

1-COMMUNICATION:
It is kind of technology which is used for communication purposes between different people, machines, e.g. Morse Code, telegraph are the early examples of communication technology.
Some of the modern technologies are,
Television: T.V sets are used to receive audio/video content for entertainment, information, news, advertisement and educational purpose.
Internet: It is the most popular and powerful means of communication ...
... technology. It has made possible for people from around the world to interact through written, audio & video content in real time. It is being used for businesses, governments, private organizations, individuals for marketing, social media and information sharing.

Cellular Phones:

This is the most modern technological tool which has enabled humans for transferring of text, audio/video content over internet, Cell phones are also equipped with cameras, different application soft-wares, google maps for navigation, health services, paying utility bills and banking transactions.

2-ELECTRICAL:

Technologies are used in a wide variety of fields i.e. wind power energy, hydel power, electrical generators are the main examples of electrical technology. These tools are developed to produce electrical energy for running operations of devices such as fans, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and for running many industrial machines like textile, auto and steel manufacturing areas.

3-MEDICAL:

There are different types of medical equipment which are in use in the medical field i.e. (E.C.G, Ultra sound, C.T.Scan, X-Ray, MRI etc.) machines help doctors to diagnose the diseases and cure the patients. Moreover there are medical equipment used by medical labs to carry out tests of patients by pathologists. Even modern day surgery is performed through robots while surgeons operate through robots hundreds of miles away from patients. Medicines and different types of medical, surgical instruments are manufactured/produced through medical technology tools, like syringes, bandages, tablets, capsules and injections etc.

4-MECHANICAL:

All the machines which do work mechanically for humans fall under mechanical technology, from sewing machine to heavy mechanical excavator, agriculture machines like tractor, thrashers, harvesters, water sprinklers, fruit collector machines and the related all machinery fall in this category. With the invention of wheel mechanical technology got a boost and with innovation and with new inventions automatic mechanical machines are being developed now a days like unmanned vehicles(cars, remote controlled road making machines, elevators, accelerators, bulldozers) are latest examples.

5-ELECTRONICS:

It is a miraculous technology which has revolutionizes the development and progress of mankind manifold. From simple vacuum tubes, transistors, to integrated circuit packages, this technology leapt forward to nano technology which enabled humans to jump straight to developing miniature smart devices like smartphones, tablets, smart watches to ultra high speed computers. Because of nano technology jump electronic technology boasts off that no field has left in which electronic technology is not involved such as mechanical technology has changed to mechatronics. All the other electrical, industrial, agricultural, communication, internet, international space stations, space shuttles, satellites, global positioning system etc., are all now electronically driven.

6-SOFTWARE:

In these modern times a new field or technology has emerged called software engineering. All modern machines no matter on which technology they are based cannot operate/function until its software is developed and installed, which in tun optimizes its performance to a next level. Besides software engineering and computer programming tools have emerged like Artificial Intelligence which has revolutionized the modern world to a new era which is called Information Age/Data Sciences Era.

CONCLUSION:
As the mankind thought on secrets of universe and its composition and reached certain results, which we called scientific knowledge. By applying this scientific knowledge for making tools which are tangible and can work for help of humans to do their work easily, different technologies came int existence.
Last but not the least, every technology which humans have made and using in their daily life have positive as well as negative impacts.
It is for us(humans) to use these technologies for betterment/improvement of our daily lives, instead of using it in negative way for destruction, carnage, of mankind.
