Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled a new mobile app - the Civil Registration System (CRS) for registering births and deaths.
The app was developed by the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India to make the registration process easier and faster.

How It Works
1. Download the CRS app from the Google Play Store.
2. Log in with your user ID and password. Complete the captcha and verify with the OTP.
3. On the home page, you’ll find options to register births and deaths.

5. After payment, you can download the certificate.
6. Both birth and death certificates can be downloaded from the app.
