Major Causes And Natural Remedies For Acid Reflux
Acid reflux is related with the digestive disorder and millions of people suffer from this problem. In this condition after eating, the content of the stomach rushes back into the throat and esophagus. The other name for this disease is Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Due to the back flow of the gastric acids the patients experiences heart burn. They experience this type of symptom very often in a week.
Usually this digestive disorder is the result of the system when there is an increase in the percentage of acid in the blood. This symptom affects the digestive system and results into indigestion. There are also some other major causes for acid reflux.

1. Improper chewing of food and eating in hurry.
2. During pregnancy imbalance in the hormone.
3. Intake of too much carbonated drinks.
4. Due to some disease weakening of the esophageal sphincter muscles.
5. Constipation and irritable bowel movements may create this problem.

Heartburn is the most common symptom of this problem. The other symptoms related with this disease are difficulty in swallowing, dry coughing, wheezing, chest pain, sleep disturbances, bad breath and bitter taste in throat.
The problem of acid reflux can be cured with the help of natural remedies. Some of the important natural remedies for acid reflux are -
1. During the meals sipping of a solution which is prepared by adding few drops of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water.
2. Intake of sugar rich foods and high carbonated foods must be restricted. It reduces the weight as well as also cures the problem of acid reflux.
3. Increase the intake of fruits and vegetables like pineapples, bananas, papaya, fig, apples, carrot, nuts, cabbages, and almonds. Intake of these fruits and vegetables keeps the acid reflux well in control.
4. After meal make a habit to chew fennel seeds. It relieves or at least reduces the symptoms of acid reflux.
5. After dinner intake of ginger root capsules reduces the problem of acid reflux as it is a herbal medicine, it calms down the nerves and also absorbs the acid from the stomach.
6. The other remedy for acid reflux is chewing gum. It is the fast remedy to cure the problem of acid reflux as it increases the production of saliva that is helpful in neutralizing the acid in the stomach.
