Navitas Semiconductor has released a 4.5 kW power supply reference design optimized for AI data centers, leveraging its GaNSafe™ and GeneSiC™ power components. This design achieves the world's highest power density at 137 W/in³ and over 97% efficiency, meeting the demanding power requirements of next-generation AI GPUs like NVIDIA's Blackwell B100 and B200, which each require over 1 kW of power. The solution is crucial as power-per-rack specifications increase to 100 kW for high-performance computation.

The 4.5 kW CRPS185 design utilizes an interleaved CCM totem-pole PFC and a full-bridge LLC topology, combining the strengths of GaN and SiC technologies for optimal performance. The GaNSafe power ICs and GeneSiC Gen-3 ‘Fast’ (G3F) MOSFETs enable high-frequency, efficient, and reliable operation, reducing size and cost of passive components.
