PLAY THE POSITION:
Position is something which determines when it is your turn to play during the hand. The way a particular hand is supposed to be played depends a lot on the position of the player in that particular hand. If you are amongst the first few people to act, you should not play too many hands as there is always a chance of someone who is going to play after you, getting a better hand and the chips that you have put in the hand are gone. The stack size is the number of chips you have. It plays a very important part in how the player has to play in a particular stage of the game. If the stack is very small as compared to the other players on the table, you should be playing only the premium hands. While if the stack is bigger than most of the players, you should play aggressively as you can afford using some of those chips in some not-so-premium hands.
