Enfinity Global: $135m For 1.2gw Solar, Wind In India

Enfinity Global Inc., a leading company in the renewable energy sector, has just secured $135 million in funding for the development and construction of 1.2 GW of solar and wind projects in India. The financing is coming from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board through its subsidiaries.

These projects, located in Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, are well into the development process and are expected to be operational between 2025 and 2026. Once completed, they are estimated to produce 2.4 GWh of clean electricity annually, which is enough to power more than two million homes in India and reduce 2.6 million tons of CO2 emissions.
