Mehndi, mandala, henna, Arabic thread, sugaring... all terms which until a few years ago recalled an oriental, Arabian, exotic and distant atmosphere, but which in recent times have begun to become popular, becoming particularly popular among the divas of Hollywood (from Rihanna to Vanessa Hudgens, from Madonna to Beyonce) up to our closest friend who is particularly attentive to new fashions and trends.

Henna is a natural paste taken from the powder of lawsonia Inermis, a plant widespread in India, Pakistan and Morocco. Using henna you can color the skin and/or hair and hair, and it is here that human imagination finds space. In fact, henna is easily suitable for semi-permanent tattoos (lasting a few weeks), therefore ideal both for a semi-permanent makeup on the eyebrows, giving them a fuller, more precise and defined effect, or, as per Indian tradition, to decorate the skin with particular designs.

The typical designs of Indian brides, Mehndi and Mandala (which were already very popular on the beach in Italy in the late 90s) are well suited to those who want to show off refined designs and decorations on hands, ...
... wrists, ankles etc., without the fear of getting bored after a while time.
Eastern culture therefore merges with the concept of Western glamor in a mix of tradition and charm, complexity and simplicity, enclosed in decorations with an ancient paste (henna) that smells of lavender, coconut, almond and jojoba essential oils.

But the oriental exploit cannot fail to also involve simple, natural and effective hair removal techniques: no hair removal strips, spatulas or tweezers but sugar paste (sugaring) and a silk thread...
Sugar paste, the famous Arab waxing or sugaring, is a natural compound based on honey and sugar with the addition of some oils. In Italy, a variant has particularly taken hold, Cleopatra's Gold, a particular paste whose recipe has been used since the times of the ancient queen of Egypt, modernized and adapted according to current needs, capable not only of removing hair and hair, also to hydrate and exfoliate the skin giving it a silky appearance.
Those who have tried it ensure relaxation and no pain (that's right, relaxation during a waxing) as the application of the paste is accompanied by movements similar to massages, capable of stimulating circulation, cell turnover and drainage of liquids. What emerges is a complete treatment, capable of massaging, epilating, exfoliating, hydrating: a real queen's treatment!
Combined with sugaring (or Cleopatra's Gold) there is also the Arabian thread, an hair removal technique which, through the use of a silk or cotton thread, allows precise hair removal without using anything other than the thread and the movements dedicated to it. No irritation, redness or burns, but silky, luminous and smooth skin.

Our society therefore finds, in the sector of oriental aesthetics, an enormous multicultural pool from which to draw techniques and knowledge capable of enriching the classic concept of beauty. Going out on Saturdays with a delicate mehndi on your hands, a look that is always tidy thanks to henna on your eyebrows, epilated with Arabian thread, your skin shiny and hydrated thanks to Cleopatra's Gold, is now everyday life. We are faced with a continuously growing mix of trends, with an oriental essence, which leads us to explore and be open, willy-nilly, to cultures that were once distant, but which today are starting to be part of us, and consequently of ours. culture. Western modernity and the ancient secrets of the East blend together, finding new solutions, innovation, novelties, elements at the basis of fashion and fashion.

Have you already tried any of these treatments?
