The Web Design Process - How We Work
With this in mind, we have developed a four stage planning and design process which covers every aspect of the build, from placement of your order through to delivery of your completed web site.
At each stage, we make numerous checks to make sure that the site we create for your company is developing in accordance with your design brief. We are always looking for ways to improve our working standards and it is this methodology which enables us to deliver such high quality, polished and professional websites very quickly and at very competitive prices.
1. Free design quotation.
Tell us a bit about your business, the types of products or services you provide and your target market. Let us know the approximate number of pages you require and if you have any specific design ideas you would like us to incorporate. From this information we can provide you with an initial quote for the website and if you are happy with this we would go to stage 2.
2. Detailed design brief.
We will invite you to paint us a full picture of how you see your eventual site appearing. You can provide us with examples ...
... and links to design aspects you really want to include. We want you to wax-lyrical and fully express your ideas to us. It is also essential that we examine how your target audience will feel when they discover your site and the type of experience you want them to enjoy. This way we can fully capture your requirements and provide you with our completely bespoke design proposal.
If this sounds a bit daunting at first, please don't worry, we can discuss all of the above on a one-to-one basis until you believe we have fully gathered your brief. Alternatively, if you would prefer to write us a summary, we can send you a template (Word doc.) in an easy question and answer format. This procedure covers virtually every aspect of the design, and probably several things you never even thought of.
3. Initial design in practice - construction of your site begins.
Your dedicated designer will now craft the home page of your new site, which will act as a design cue for the remaining pages of the site in terms of colour, graphics, and the navigation menus.
Even at this early phase, you will be able to see your ideas forming in actual development. Naturally, this will be your first glimpse of the whole concept coming together and will ensure that we are meeting the objectives described and agreed in your design brief. We can now fully expand the site and its content. Working together, we can now work quickly towards completion of your project.
4. Your site is delivered.
Taking the full consultation and design process, step by step, should now have paid dividends. The design brief is now fully realised and you have the first opportunity to view your site before its final release to a potential world-wide audience.

Absolute Web Design can purchase and configure your brand new domain name or we can simply transfer and configure an existing domain name you have purchase elsewhere, it's that simple. Your new site is now launched.
