Methods for Configuring SUS Clients
There are four options for configuring SUS clients in MCSA Certification. You can:
Use the Automatic Updates tab or Automatic Updates utility in Control Panel on
each client.
Use the Local Group Policy.
Use a GPO.
...
... Directly configure the registry on each client.
Using Active Directory—based Group Policy is the preferred method. In addition to reducing the administrative load, by using Group Policy you can ensure that the configuration is applied uniformly across all clients in a given Active Directory container.
