• As a significant part of the SRDP initiatives, the state government will be building a few bridges on the River Musi, at various locations. The purpose of these bridges is to simplify travel between the south zone and many other areas of the city.

• A flyover facilitating the flow of traffic in both directions has been built between Ramakrishna Mutt and VST. The flyover of around two-and-half kilometers, which is a steel bridge, has solved the traffic issues on the Lower Tank Bund- Vidyanagar stretch. This steel bridge has enabled the smooth movement of vehicles heading towards Osmania University and Hindi Mahavidyalaya.

• Likewise, the construction work of the flyover of slightly more than 4 km linking Nehru Zoo Park and Aramghar will soon be over. After that, there is going to be a marked drop in the travel time between the Zoo Park and the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. • Shortly, the Telangana Government will begin the “link roads” project, which is the next phase of the SRDP. The aim of this project is to establish connections between both ends of many roads that are already present in the city.
