ISO 17065 standards ensure that certification authorities, inspecting bodies, and testing labs accurately certify service, product, and process quality. It ensures that the services or products purchased by customers satisfy global requirements. Organizations must create the necessary documents and maintain quality management systems to achieve ISO 17065 accreditation.

ISO 17065 Compliance
ISO covers a wide range of sectors. ISO 17065 certification is one of its accreditations, which certifies that an accreditation body is competent enough to certify services, goods, and processes according to quality. The ISO 17065 certification certifies the quality and regulatory compliance of the items that follow:
• Services: Services are the intangible outcomes of an action between a supplier and a customer.
• Products: Products are process results such as hardware, software, processed materials, or services.
• Processes: Processes are interconnected or linked actions that convert inputs into outputs. Food production procedures, manufacturing processes, and welding engineering techniques are some examples.
...
... ISO 17065 accreditation is available to testing labs, certification granting authorities, and inspection bodies. ISO 17065 is beneficial to the following organizations and parties:
• Government officials and non-governmental organizations
• Clients of certification bodies
• Clients of the authorised organization
• Customers are examples of public members.

Steps in the 17065 Accreditation Process
To obtain the 17065 accreditations, organizations must go through a series of stages. Among these steps are the following:

1. Utilization: The utilization is the initial stage of the accreditation procedure. Along with its application, an organization must complete an application form and pay any applicable fees. The application stage necessitates documentation proving an organization meets the accreditation requirements.

2. Internal Controls: An organization must complete an internal audit before applying for an on-site visit by accrediting officers. During this audit, the organization's team looks for any nonconformities in the facilities, staff, and processes. Before their on-site evaluation, they must also correct any non-conformities.

3. On-Site Evaluation: Accreditation officers visit the organization's premises during an on-site examination to analyse and verify its competency, consistency, and fairness in the certification process. Officers assess each organization by carrying out the following tasks:
• Examining files and documents
• Performance evaluation and competency testing
• Audit measurement and validation
• Evaluating office
• Observing the organization's examinations, assessments, or tests

4. Corrective Measures: Accreditation officers create a report detailing their evaluation after their assessment. They determine if the organization meets all of the relevant requirements completely and appropriately. Before the accreditation officers do a follow-up evaluation, the organization has the option to address any nonconformities.

5. Validation: An organization can undergo reassessment after rectifying any nonconformities and implementing corrective steps. If accreditation officers determine that the organization meets all of the ISO 17065 accreditation requirements, certification will be granted.
