Buying a property requires you to consider all possible important factors. Take into account all pros and cons and don’t rush the process. If it takes six months to find the right property than be it. Whether it is a brand-new property or a second hand one, you need to carry out a lot of inspections and checks to make sure that everything is fine with the property. This requires time and you need to hire the right service providers for the job. Below are some important inspections that you should get done, no matter what.
 

Roof, Attic and Basement Inspection: The roof offers the maximum protection to the house and it is the most exposed part of the property. If only you knew about the existing condition of the property you could have refused to purchase it or could have asked the then owner to undertake the necessary repair works before you make the payment.

Well, there is. You need to make sure that all the documents related to the property are in order. If you find that any one of the documents is missing, do not fret. Consult your lawyer immediately. He will suggest you a legal remedy. Often it happens that the owner is unable to produce all the documents required and because of that the purchase of the property gets stalled. The best solution is to always consult your lawyer in such situations. He knows how to deal with them and will guide you accordingly.
 
At the same time, your lawyer should also review the legal document between you and the current owner of the property. Ask him to go through the document carefully and to come up with terms and conditions that will be suitable for both the parties involved.

Each of the inspections mentioned above will require five to six days before the experts will submit their detailed report to you. Before that you will take time to shortlist the service provider. Once you contact them they will give you a date and time when they will come down for the inspection. Hence, you will find that a sufficient amount of time is required to complete the job.
 
If you start the inspection by the end of this month, you will be in a position to decide whether you should buy the property by the end of next month. If you delay in contacting the experts then the entire process will get delayed. If you are fine with that then there is nothing much we can do. Otherwise you should start the process ASAP.
