It is sad but it’s true. Those that waste their time railing against the fact that they have to take the test do worse on the exam than those that don’t. It doesn’t matter if the former one has spent all their leisure time on their preparation, or realistically have a second degree in GRE preparation.
If you approach the GRE test with an attitude, then it is not that important.

If your new hobby is to make fun of the GRE with your study group and buddies, or if you spend more time complaining about taking the exam and wasting your time on GRE preparation, then you, my friend, are in requirement of a serious attitude adjustment!

As a matter of fact, as far as testing success is concerned, these factors actually work against them.

But why is that”?

Accept the Inevitable that you are sitting for the GRE test

We have discovered one instance of a test taker, but what about the other type?

You have a clear idea who they are. These are the people that look forward to taking part in the exam. They not only accept the fact ...
... that to get into the graduation school of their dreams, they have to take the test, and they look forward to the opportunity to display their knowledge.

It is not only the attitude adjustment that prepares them for success. It is the fact that they don’t waste invaluable time and mental space going against the inevitable.

If you are approaching the test with a negative perspective or with a plan to cheat on ACT or GRE, then listen to what I say. Stop making value related judgments about the GRE, as it is not going to fade away with a bit of wishful thinking. Those who don’t spend their energy and time complaining about the GRE study, do better than those that dread or resent it.

So if you want to know how to cheat on ACT or GRE, I would rather say to deal with it.

The attitude adjustment you require for GRE preparation

It might sound like a bafflegap, but believe me, adjusting your attitude is the best thing you can do for the test score. Follow these methods and tips, and you will be ultimately in the right frame of mind for success.

• Definitely, the GRE test will be challenging, but don’t get obsessed about it.

• Give yourself some much required perspective about the examination. It is just like a puzzle that graduate schools use to find out who you are as a student. It is not a test that defines who you are, nor should you look at it as the end of the world. Well, it is not going to determine the result of your life.
