How To Protect Skin With Skin Care Routines
To all skin types, the first of the first step to taking care of your skin is preventing damage. But what is the last time you check your skin and think of giving some special skin care to it? Actually skin care should be an essential part of your health and beauty.
From the previous article we know the basic 5 skin types and the characteristics of them. We can take special care for each skin type, but here are some ordinary skin care routines that we can take as reference.
What should we do to prevent our skin from damage?
The sun, wind, pollutants and simply aging will degrade our skin and makes it not beautiful as before. What people complain about their skin is dry and itchy skin, wrinkles, sagging, color changes, and age spots.
In our daily life, the most important way to protect your skin is to keep away from the damaging rays of the sun. Ultraviolet radiation damages the skin and can lead to wrinkles, premature aging, age spots, and even cancer. Take extra precautions to make sure your skin is not exposed to the sun's rays. A proper diet isn't just good for your overall health, it also helps to ensure that your skin will receive all of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that it needs to maintain and repair itself. Drinking purified water is another great way to keep your skin healthy. Water helps to hydrate the skin and move waste and nutrients through the system. Are there any special skin care routines for skin protection?
As I said before, check erroneous ideas at the outset is much easier than repair in after. You don't have to follow all the rules listed in the articles but develop some kind of skin care routine based on your skin type, daily activities, and nutritional needs. Following a daily skin care regime will also allow you to more closely evaluate your skin for abnormalities. But please remember that the best way is to find the proper skin care routine for yourself.
Here's a basic skin care routine for your reference.
Cleanse
Wash your skin thoroughly on a daily basis to remove the dirt, debris, pollutants, and perspiration that have accumulated. If you have dry or sensitive skin, use only warm water to wash your skin and use a mild natural cleanser every few days. If you have normal or oily skin, be sure to wash with a gentle cleanser on a daily basis. Be sure to brush your teeth before washing your face, as toothpaste residue can irritate sensitive facial skin.
Moisturize
Unless your skin is very oily, you will want to use a moisturizer everyday to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Your skin needs moisturizer all year long as both the indoor winter heat, and summer sun can be equally damaging to your skin.
Protect
Use a natural sunscreen when possible, regardless of whether or not you plan on spending much time in the sun. The sun's rays are very damaging and if you get in the habit of applying sunscreen every day, you will never be left without protection. The sun's most beneficial rays occur at sunrise and sunset.
You can apply these basic routine to your own one, and take good care of your skin and makes it beautiful and healthy.
