Driving is an essential and responsible skill. Knowing how to drive is not enough. You need to drive responsibly as well so that you do not put other’s life in danger. Today, we are going to discuss ten different tips that will help you become a good and responsible driver.

To begin with, get enrolled in a good Strathfield driving school. It is important that you learn driving from a good school where the instructors are skilled and will be able to teach you all the finer nuances of driving.

You should make sure that your car is well maintained at all times. Whenever you encounter any problem, you should get it checked by a certified mechanic. No matter how small or big the problem is, fixing your car right on time has no other alternative. Moreover, by doing so, you are ensuring that your vehicle remains in good shape and you get to enjoy good performance for years to come.

You should always put your seat belt on the moment you get behind the wheel. At the same time, you need ...
... to ensure that you passenger has also put on their seat belts. If there is a kid sitting at the back, make sure that they have put on their belt as well. If there is a jerk or a sudden break, no one will lose control and bang their heads. The seat belt will ensure that they remain safe and well protected.

You should always go for defensive driving. If you have to reach somewhere on time, you should start early. Do not start late and the break the speed limit so that you don’t miss the event. This is the most reckless way of driving. You can end up getting hurt or you may hit someone on the road.

You should always follow the traffic signals. Even when you are driving at the dead of the night and there are hardly any vehicles on the road, you should still follow the traffic signals. Because if you get in the habit of breaking traffic signals then soon you will try to break the rules even in broad daylight and that can always turn risky.

Stick to the speed limit whenever you driver. Each road has a different speed limit. Follow that and drive. If the limit is 60 then do not drive at 100. This is because the other vehicles are following the speed limit. Since you are going overboard you are going to collide into another vehicle. Why do you want to end up in an accident?

You should never weave between lines. This is strongly prohibited. When you do this, you are confusing the vehicles that are behind you and are driving along side you. What if the other driver loses control and ends up in an accident? There is no point of putting your life and those of the others at risk ever.

Indicate before you change lanes. There is a reason why your car has indicators. When you use the indicator, you are warning all the vehicles nearby that you are going to change the lane and that they need to modify their driving accordingly. If you don’t use the lights, how will one know what you are up to?

You should never multi task while driving. This is a strict no-no. You should not answer the call or send text messages while driving. When you do so your concentration gets diverted and you for a few seconds you lose control over your car. These few seconds can prove to be fatal for you and for all those who are on the road. If it is an emergency call, then park the car and then answer the call, otherwise ignore the call and answer it only after you reach the destination.

You should never driver under the influence of alcohol. Drunk driving is a punishable offence. It is completely a reckless action on your part to drive when you are drunk. When you cannot walk properly how do you think that you can drive well? In fact, you should not drive if you are drowsy. This is too dangerous. You never know when your eyes will close and you will ram your car against a divider. You can lose your life because of your stupidity.
