If you have not taken proper care of your chopper for a long time then it’s the right time to take it to the service centre. However, if you have a customised motorcycle in Brisbane then also you should take special care in the long run.  In this article, we will be discussing some tips which will help you to clean your bike without damaging any part of it. So, without being so late, let’s focus on the writing.

It's likely that part of the reason you bought your motorcycle was because you loved the way it looked. That motorcycle stood out in the crowd and called your attention because of its stunning paint job, shining chrome, studded leather saddlebags, and other extras. However, you might not be aware that poorly washing your bike can actually harm your scoot and ruin those appealing aspects that initially drew you to it. You must wait for the engine to cool down after returning from a cruise before washing the bike. You could crack your engine as well as cause spots, streaking, and chrome damage! Therefore, allow the ...
... engine and pipes to cool down. When the motorcycle is cool enough to handle, you may give it a thorough "once over" to check for any leaks, worn tires, loose hoses, or other areas that may need your attention later. Assemble your cleaning products as well.

Before starting cleaning, gather the necessary supplies. This will help you make the cleaning procedure easier. Be ready with a mild detergent or liquid soap, motorcycle wax or paint sealant, water hose or washer, degreaser, soft-bristled brush, microfiber towels, soft cotton cloths, and so on. Let’s start the procedure here. Remove your watch, rings, and other jewellery that could scratch your motorcycle before you start cleaning it. Remove any belts, metallic jackets, and other anything that you think can cause scratches. If you think the entire cleaning procedure is going to be tough for you then you can take assistance from the professionals. They have been doing such things for a long time and have already gathered knowledge of it. However, if you have any further queries then you can ask them. They will definitely clear your doubts and try their level best to provide the right services and solutions.

You can start washing the bike now that it is cool to the touch. Make your cleaning solution by properly mixing the motorbike cleaning product that the maker of our motorcycle has advised.

Locate a garage or covered place with proper lighting so you may clean your chopper motorcycle there. Steer clear of direct sunlight since it could let soap or water stains dry before you can rinse them out. To avoid the development of cleaning fumes, make sure the space is also sufficiently aired. To start, thoroughly pre-rinse your chopper to get rid of any loose debris, muck, and grime. For this stage, you can use a pressure washer or a water hose. Use the pressure washer with caution since too much pressure might harm delicate parts, such as electrical connections or painted surfaces. Typically, a motorcycle's wheels and tires are its dirtiest components. Scrub away accumulated grime and brake dust using a soft-bristled brush and soapy water.

Each wheel should be completely cleaned using a wheel cleaner and soft cloth. In addition to dirt adhering to the wheels, dust from the brake pads can also get onto the wheels when the brakes are applied and can actually induce corrosion on the wheels due to the chemical reactions between the metals. Clearly rinse the wheel. Use soft, clean rags to dry down your motorcycle. If at all possible, avoid working in the sun's direct rays as this method works best in the shade. Thus, streaking is avoided. Look for streaks, and if necessary, dampen a place and repeat the drying process there. You only need a few drops of water to wet a stained area.

Now, it’s time to dry!

When drying, keep an eye out for areas where water tends to collect and take additional care to ensure such areas are completely dry. Never, ever dry your motorcycle using an air compressor. Although it appears to function perfectly, compressed air can blow grit into the finish, causing long-term damage. For drying motorcycles, some individuals utilise a lawn blower that they originally bought to remove leaves from their driveway or walkway.

To protect the motorcycle's paintwork and keep it looking pristine, apply a high-quality motorcycle wax or paint sealant. Follow the instructions on the product, applying it in small, circular motions. Allow it to dry to a haze before buffing it off with a clean microfiber towel. Once the chopper motorcycle is clean and shiny, take some time to inspect and tighten any loose bolts or components. Check the chain tension and lubricate it if necessary. Ensure that the brakes and lights are functioning correctly. To keep your chopper motorcycle in top condition, establish a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule. A monthly or bi-monthly cleaning routine, depending on your riding frequency and weather conditions, will help preserve your chopper's appearance and performance.
