Robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery (RALS) is a newer surgical technique that can be used to remove pancreatic cancer. This technique involves the use of a robotic surgical system, which is controlled by the surgeon. The surgeon is able to see inside the patient’s body and direct the movements of the robotic arms, which are equipped with small surgical instruments.
