An investment in heat for a home is a serious matter, and a possible correction, i.e., buying additional solar manufacturer in Australia, may turn out to be quite expensive. Therefore, to save yourself unnecessary expenses and impressions, we have collected some tips that will help you get as much power as you need from the installed solar panels. This is crucial because the power of solar panels should be matched to energy consumption.
What does the efficiency of solar panels depend on?
When we decide to install solar panels, we face a dilemma of which solar panels to choose and with what power. Stronger panels will be able to produce more electricity, but their efficiency also depends on several other properties, such as:
• Real estate location
• Roof pitch angle
• Location of panels (north south)
• Ventilation and air temperature
• Contamination of the panel surface
• Lifetime of the panels
• Power tolerance
• Color of the panel coating
Each of the above factors matters, but not all equally. Optimum effuses in terms of efficiency are obtained ...
... by new solar panels (slightly 10 years of use they lose power, giving 80-90% of the initial yield), located at the right angle (preferably from the south), regularly cleaned, with a black coating (they give a slightly better efficiency from blue panels).
How much electricity does a single solar panel produce?
A single solar energy in Australia will produce electricity depending on the power it has, the amount of energy consumed and the prevailing external conditions. It is assumed that one solar panel has a power of 290 to 400 kWp. The abbreviation stands for kilowatt-topics, which is the amount of electricity that can be produced.
Important in this regard are:
Solar radiation intensity - the instantaneous value of the power density of solar radiation that reaches the surface of 1m2 in 1 second, this value is defined as W/m2 (watt per square meter).
Insolation - means the time of incidence of the sun's rays on the surface of the Earth, expressed in hours.
Since the average insolation in Australia is approximately 1600 hours (over 2 months of continuous sun), 1 kWp of solar panels can produce approximately 900-1000 kWh of electricity per year. Such a result depends on the correct installation of the panels and their location on the south side.
Solar panel manufacturers usually report better "performance" of their components than they do. However, this is not due to any collusion of the solar industry, but the conditions under which solar tests are carried out. This is mainly due to the level of sunlight and shade, humidity, and moderate temperature. When comparing solar panels, it is worth remembering that the power declared by the manufacturer applies to standard conditions, i.e., a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a fixed solar radiation power at a given moment.
How many panels are needed for 1 kW?
Since a single solar panel is between 290 and 400 kWp, the average panel power is 350 kWp. This means that under test conditions (25 degrees Celsius; solar radiation of the panels at the level of 1000 W/m2; wind speed up to 1 m/s; slope at the level of 30-40 degrees) 3 panels are needed to obtain a power of 1 kW.
Similarly, a 2-kW solar installation will produce approximately 2,000 kWh of electricity per year, 4 kW - 4,000 kWh, 5 kW - 5,000 kWh, 6 kW - 6,000 kWh, and 10 kW - 10,000 kWh.
In practice, it is not so easy to obtain the conditions in which the manufacturer tested its solar panels, because a weather anomaly lasting for a long time is enough for the power yield to differ significantly from the declared one. If we want to be sure of the proper selection of solar power for the required consumption, it is worth commissioning a professional audit. Some top solar companies in Australia offer such a service. It consists in developing an individual report for the user in terms of:
• Weather conditions at the investment site
• Degree of shading of solar panels
• Roof surface
• The degree of inclination of the roof
• Inverter assembly
• Type of solar panels
How to calculate the power of a solar installation?
In Australia, weather conditions allow the selection of a solar installation with a capacity of 1.25 kWp for every 1000 kWh of energy consumption.
How much does 1 kW of solar panel cost?
The cost of 1 kW of solar panel is an individual issue due to too many factors that affect the final valuation.
Currently, converted into kilowatts, solar panel is about PLN 4,000-6,000 for 1 kWp of energy. The cost of a solar installation depends primarily on:
• Type and class of solar panels
• Type and class of other components - inverter, cabling, accessories
• Assembly of the installation, in particular the method and place of fixing the panels
• Real estate location
• Region
It should be remembered that the purchase and installation of solar panels is associated with a long-term return on such an investment, which is approximately 10 years. This period also depends on the efficiency, quality, and durability of solar panels. We can close the entire expense in the amount of PLN 15,000, but also PLN 50,000, which is influenced by the number of solar panels or the issue of co-financing for solar panels.
Why is it worth investing in Tindo solar panels?
Australia is in a favorable position when it comes to the profitability of investments in solar panel. Despite being in the northern hemisphere, the insulation in some regions of the country (mainly the central and south-western parts) is about 1000 kWh/m2 or 1600 hours per year.
Energy independence is the main reason for having a PV installation. If we generate an energy surplus, we can store "our" electricity or sell it to the power plant.
The profitability of solar panel increases the possibility of its co-financing. National programs have been launched for individual recipients.
And finally - Best Solar Panel company in Australia means easier and ecological acquisition of energy from sunlight, allowing you to reduce your monthly electricity bills. On the one hand, we collect the amount of energy that is necessary for us to use for household needs, and on the other hand, in the weaker heating months - we can recover the surplus as a prosumer from the Distribution Network Operator.
Where to look for solar panels?
At least a dozen solar suppliers operate throughout the country. Before deciding to install solar panels on the roof or in the ground, it is worth checking what individual companies offer. There is no need to check the entire industry, which would take a lot of time. It is enough to at least compare the two available FV providers.
