Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is the organization that oversees and regulates the food industry in India. It is an autonomous agency under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 (FSS Act), which is a coordinating act related to food safety and standards in India, established the FSSAI.
