The Everest Region is one of the most popular Himalayas in the world for adventure mountain activity. There are several Trekking routes in the Everest Region. You can pick one of them for your adventure trip. So, what are available Trekking Routes in the Everest Region then? Check them below:

Everest Base Camp Trek

The Everest Base Camp Trek is the busiest route in the Khumbu Region, where hundreds of adventurers will be walking daily on this trail during the high trekking seasons. It is a 12-day round trip from Kathmandu to Kathmandu, but you can also do it in 9 days if you do not have enough time to complete the regular Base Camp Trek Itinerary. Everest Base Camp Trek with Return by Helicopter is a 9-day journey, which stays with the classic Itinerary up to the Base Camp and Kala Patthar, then flies out direct to Kathmandu on a Helicopter from Gorakshep.

Trekking to the Everest Base Camp begins with a short flight to Lukla from Kathmandu, but the flights ...
... are operating from Manthali during the high Trekking seasons due to air traffic in the Kathmandu Airport. After landing at the Lukla Airport, the trip goes to Phakding on the same day, around 3 hours, and descends through traditional Sherpa Villages, Chhepulung, Thadokoshi, and Ghat.

The Trekking trail goes to Namche Bazaar on the second day, and you have one extra day to rest in Namche and hike to Hotel Everest View for altitude practice. On the fourth day, you Trek to Tengboche, then Dingboche, and take another acclimatization rest. You hike to Nangkartshang Hill during the second rest day from Dingboche and then Trek to Lobuche and Gorakshep before the Base Camp Hike.

You Reach the Base Camp on the eighth day during the Everest Base Camp Trek, then Trek back to Lukla after visiting Kala Patthar in 3 days and fly out to Kathmandu. There are also luxury lodges on this route, so it is possible to stay in them as Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek. Some people might be looking for a low-budget Trek to the Everest Base Camp if they travel backpacking.

Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek

The 'Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek' is a combined Trek between the Everet Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes, divided by an adventure high pass Cho La. It is a 15-day adventure Trek in the Everest Region. You visit Everest Base Camp, Kala Patthar, Gokyo Lakes, and Gokyo Ri during this Trek.

Gokyo Lakes Trek

Gokyo Lakes is in the Gokyo Valley, a quiet route compared to the Everest Base Camp Route. This 11-Day Trek goes left toward the Gokyo Valley from Sanasa, leaving the main Everest Base Camp Trekking trail on the fourth day of the Trek. You see magnificent mountain views with the four highest mountains above 8000m from Gokyo Ri while doing this Trek. Pristine Gokyo Lakes, Ngozumpa Glacier, and Brahming Duks on the Lakes are the other highlights of the Trek.

Everest 3 Passes Trek

The Everest 3 Passes Trek is the most adventurous in the Everest Himalayas, which includes three major High Passes Kongma La, Cho La, and Renjo La. Trekkers go for this trek clockwise and counterclockwise, but counterclockwise is easier and suggested to Trek. It covers all the beauties of the Everest Region, so if you are an adventurous person and regular hiker with 3 weeks in Nepal, this Trekking package is highly suggested to Trek.

Renjo La Pass Trek

Renjo La is the easiest High Pass in the Everest Region compared to the other two. You go over this hill after visiting the Gokyo Lakes to the Himalayan Hidden Valley (Thame), where you can see the oldest monastery on Everest. There is a walking trail to go to Tibet through Nangpa La Pass. Tibetan people used to bring stuff through this pass and sell it in the Everest territory. However, trekkers go over this high pass from the Thame side, but it is a long climb if you go the clockwise route.

Everest View Trek

The Everest View is the shortest Trek in the Everest Region to see the world's highest mountain. It goes up to Tengboche Hill after taking a flight to Lukla and returns. You can go on this trek even in winter when there will be freezing higher for a long trek in the Region.

Can not Go on Trek?

If you can not go on a trek or do not have time for it, you can still reach the base camp and Kala Patthar in a luxurious way from Kathmandu. Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is the best option for luxuriously exploring Everest. This tour has several landings at vantage viewpoints, from where you can see magnificent views of the Himalayas.
